Nevermoor is what people are saying will be the next Harry Potter- one of them being me- but Nevermoor isn’t just Harry Potter rewritten it has its own magic. It has something to offer that’s not been seen before. I think that because I’ve done that, I deserve a shot at getting in the Wunderous Society.
Nevermoor was a really enjoyable book and I instantly loved it however, I have completed the impossible task of listing only a few amazing features about this incredible book. Things that made me think: ‘wow, this is an amazing book’
Aerial fitness studio for children and adults planned for Devonport. You can find the young bookworm's very own website here. The only problem is, that she doesn't have one!!!Īlfie Godfree, aged 11, is a children's books blogger from Beacon Park. However, in order to truly belong to the Wunderous Society, Morrigan must complete 4 impossible tasks and compete with incredible children with incredible talents. If you join the society, then you can be granted many, many wonderful things yet the only things Jupiter makes a point so strong about is this: “If you join the Wundrous Society, you will always have friends and family to have your back, to love you.” Like an old lady going ice skating and breaking a hip, Morrigan's fault! All because Morrigan smiled at her.Īnd-of course- since Morrigan wished Pip Gilchrest good luck, it’s her fault he lost the Great Wolfacre state Spelling Bee! Worst of all, every cursed child was doomed to die on eventide night at midnight (eventide is the most unlucky night for any misfortunate child to be born on) and when the bell tolls 12 on Morrigan's 11 birthday, instead of facing the wrath of the brutal Hunt Of The Smoke And The Shadow, the young girl is whisked away to Nevermoor by Wundrous Society member: Jupter North.Īnd with coming to Nevermoor illegally faces Morrigan with two options: go back and face The Hunt Of The Smoke And Shadow, or join the Wunderous Society. It is about a young 11 year-old girl who was born on eventide, the most unlucky night of the year unfairly, she is blamed for everything that is slightly out of line. This is the first book of what I hope will be an extraordinary series made up from incredible books.
